About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team at James Curaçao, located in the heart of Pietermaai.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and cook dishes from our menu.
• Ensure consistency, presentation and quality in every plate.
• Work closely with the front-of-house team for smooth service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and placing orders when needed.
• Create and design new dishes, explore flavor combinations and contribute to menu development.
• Take pride in plating and presentation, turning every dish into an experience.
• Prepare special menus, bites or corporate-style lunches for private groups or events.

Who you are

• You have experience working in a professional kitchen.
• You’re creative, reliable and detail-oriented.
• You work well under pressure and bring positive energy to the team.
• You enjoy contributing ideas and experimenting with new flavors or presentations.
• You care about presentation, hygiene and quality.
• You speak Papiamentu & Dutch, English or Spanish is a plus!
